OK, even though the book part is NOT like this, can I just say I wanted to freakin’ CHEER when Ed smashed that thing??

The previews had made it look like Susan was going to do it, so I was pleasantly surprised.  Because it WOULD be Edmund, who knew how corrosive her power was, who wold see to it she never came back.

BUT of course in the book it never got that far.

I’d like to go on record saying I had mixed feeling about this movie in general.

But the one thing that made me a puddle of weepy mush was The Dawn Treader.  Seeing her, in all her glory, the way I’d imagined her (from Pauline Baynes’ marvelous illustrations) all my life…it was quite moving.

It suddenly felt…Real.
