I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, myself since I’ve been watching Justice League Unlimited. They way WW is portrayed there works. It’s just fine. I think the problem with bring her to film is trying to make it work for a broad audience.
Ooops, almost missed this, Con!!
I should probably watch that at some point!!
Additionally, the problem with trying to make it work for a broad audience is that it tends to pander to the lowest common denominator, so it may end up like the Halle Berry version of Catwoman and do we really need a repeat of that??

I am exactly the same way.
Yes, i’ve noticed it’s kind of a writerly thing…to want the audience & feedback, but also fear it. :S
I think it was John Green who said something along the lines of…writers are an odd mixture of arrogance and insecurity. Think Neil Gaiman may have said something similar as well.

I would love to read your stuff, but my attention span is to the point lately where I’ll forget about it. From what I’ve read, though, you’re an awesome writer. *shrug*
Well I appreciate your honesty. :) I understand the feeling.
And that’s very kind of you to say, Con.
