THAT KISS SCENE

This is like, my favorite kiss scene in any show ever. Just. Wow. The way he holds her face. All the little details. How he has that sense of “you are too good for me and you kissing me is the best thing to happen to me in my entire life” like he’s just overwhelmed. It’s so beautiful.

Also Richard Armitage. That sums up why I like this scene pretty well too.

That is a perfect explanation of why this kiss is so amazing.  I also love the ever-so-subtle exchange of asking and giving permission as they lean in together.  I mean, sometimes a guy just grabs a girl (or vice versa) and plants one on her, and they make out, and that can be hot, but this…

I think this captures the essence of the book where you understand that he has been waiting for this for a very long time, and he’s not going to rush it.  He savors it. 

In the book, it’s this really beautiful embrace, which sounds tame but when you’ve read his repeated inner longings just to be in her arms again, just to hold her…gah.  Although, there is a “delicious silence” afterward, which I pretty much imagine unfolding like the kiss from the series.

And now I am full of feels again.
